Which will be the best, trekking in McLeodGanj or trekking in Dalhousie?
McLeodganj can be reached from Dharamshala. It is a beautiful place in the district of Kangra. On the way to McLeodganj, you have options to visit Triund; a pristine waterfall called Bhagsunag; the snow-capped Dhauladhar range which is said to be one of the main ranges in the lower Himalayas. The trek is an easy one with several facilities and reasonable price. The trek is around 9 km.
Dalhousie, on the other hand, is about 12 km to Khajjiar. It can be reached from Panchpula, which is around 2 km on road from G.P.O. While traveling to Khajjiar on foot, beautiful places like Ganjipahadi, Mudhouse, Pahlani mata will keep on entertaining you. This trek is easy but tiring. Apart from this, there are no other trekking options available in Dalhousie.
Conclusion:
1. If you are a nature lover and enjoy seeing peaks, opt for Mcleodganj.
2. Dalhousie has more places to visit. So, if you look from value for money, opt for Dalhousie.
