Hampta Pass is one of the best treks in October in India for Beginners. Hampta Pass is situated at an elevation of 14,000 feet above mean sea level. The difficulty level is easy to moderate and this is why the beginners who are in quest for thrill and adventure in the Himalayas should opt for this trek. During October, there is a high possibility of snowfall in the Hampta Pass region. You can find a blanket of snow in the high regions of the Hampta Pass. The temperature during this time will remain quite cold with mercury dipping as low as -5 degrees centigrade during the night time. At the lower reaches, you will find beautiful landscapes with gushing streams, assorted forests and broken huts. The trail consists of some of the prettiest campsites and hence the journey from the start of the trek will be mesmerizing.
