Which are the best places for trekking in Maharashtra?
Matheran is a hill station located 90kms from Mumbai and 128kms from Pune. It has multiple trekking trails. It is an excellent spot for weekend trips. The height of the location is 2,506 feet. It has 28 viewpoints.

Rajmachi Fort is located 80kms from Pune and 94kms from Mumbai. The trek is quite challenging and is the best place for nature lovers. It is at a height of 2,710 feet. The entire path is covered with dense forest on both sides. There are two forts Shri Vardhan and Manaranjan. This place is 15kms from Lonavala.
