Bisuri Tal is a high-altitude lake perched at a height of around 12,000 feet and is located in Mandakini Valley near Chopta, Uttarakhand. Due to its obscurity, it is a hidden trek not many trekkers no about. It can be reached through trekking from its side, with the trek being 60kms long and can take up to 5 days to arrive.
But in the end, all the hard work of those five days will pay off as, and it offers lush green forests, waterfalls, mountains, wildlife, and even river streams. It is considered as a rough trek when compared to others, and it is believed that the lake has medicinal values, and a person can cure skin diseases by bathing in it. To reach Bisuri Tal, you have to take a trek from chapter to Bisuri tal, which passes through Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. The other way to reach Bisuri Tal is a trek from Sari village, which goes through Deoriatal and Rohini Buygal. The right to do this trek is from March to December before snowfall in the chapter region.
