Triund is one of a newbie?s easiest treks, so not much gear is needed. If you plan to do the trek alone (not through an agent), then there are some of the essential things you should carry: A backpack. For Triund, 50l ought to be more than sufficient. There should be enough padding on the back and straps of the ruck ? shoes for trekking. I highly recommend buying a couple of trekking shoes/boots with a high ankle. It is because they are like a one-time investment, so don?t concern about the price.
The high ankle defends the knee from sprains. You?re prone to an ankle injury as you?re going to carry your backpack. But don?t take anything needless on the trek, it would tire you more frequently and increase trekking time!! Warm clothes and gloves must since the cold weather will make your hands freeze. Some light snacks and bottles of water are essential too. Meals are provided when the package is booked.
