Generally, only vegetarian food is served on a trek because non-vegetarian food is extremely rich in protein which in turn increases the difficulty of digestion by our body. You can choose bread, egg and fruit juice for breakfast and chapati for other means. Non-veg foods are avoided because they can lead to altitude sickness and other health issues during trekking
