What are the places to stay at the base camp of Kuari Pass Trek?

The base of Kuari Pass trek is Joshimath. The stays are in limited number and have basic facilities. It can be reached via Haridwar or Rishikesh. There are a lot of modes of transport available to contact here. Direct and indirect trains and buses are included in this. The distance between Haridwar and Rishikesh is just 24 kilometers.

Some places to Stay in Joshimath are:

  2. Hotel Mount View, Joshimath
  3.  Hotel Bhagat, Joshimath
  4. Hotel Sriman Place, Joshimath

Once you reach Rishikesh, you can stay for the night there to take a break and then proceed towards Joshimath. It is around 256 kilometers from Rishikesh. Joshimath can also be the place where you do the final campaigning. After that, you can go for trekking to Auli.

One can choose whether to stay in Joshimath or Auli. There is a minimal distance of 16 kilometers. The trekking point is in Auli. This place also offers a perfect landscape view of Uttarakhand. On this trek, you will find an opportunity to gaze at the sky kissing peaks such as Kamet, Trishul, Chaukhamba, the massive mountain of Nanda Devi East, along with the other peaks, which are quite less popular. Some of these are Ghunti, Hathi, Ghodi Parbat, Neelkanth, Dronagiri, Mukut Parbat, Rishi Pahad, Mana.
