Published On 16 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Trekking solo is not only a wild and admirable choice but is also just equally daunting. While it?s a commendable fantasy to have dreamt about, it is important to keep in mind both the pros and cons of solo trekking.

Advantages of solo trekking:-

  1. Incomparable Feeling of accomplishment, you bet no other feeling in the world can beat this.
  2. Adrenaline rushes and spikes throughout the challenges of solo trekking.

Disadvantages of solo trekking:-

  1. Unreachable help or assistance in cases of emergencies.
  2. Memories created are personal and cannot be discussed with others unlike memories created in groups that can be discussed and revisited any day and any time.

After having considering everything if you remain adamant about solo trekking then you should probably waste no time in ticking this off your bucket list. It is challenging, enthralling, and everything you are really looking forward to.

Here are a few solo treks advisable for beginners:

  1. Triund Trek (2 days)
  2. Tosh Valley Trek (2 days)
  3. Nag Tibba Trek (2 days)
  4. Kheerganga Trek (2 days)
