India has so many fascinating treks to offer. From Himalayan and Karakoram ranges to treks located in the southern region, it offers awesome trekking experiences throughout the country. Trekking is currently one of the latest trends in India. There is a rapid hike in a total number of trek enthusiastic folks among the Indian population. It is safe to say that treks in India are getting crowded. During peak seasons in popular treks at least 250-300, people trek every day in India.
Therefore, if we sum up the total number of trekkers, there are around 100000 trekkers in popular treks in summer only. We are not including deserted and least popular treks in our list along with off-season trekkers. So many people are opting for trekking experience as their ideal vacation. People are looking out to it as a way to experience nature more closely. It is not wrong to assume that this number will grow in the near future.
