Is it possible to trek up to Kalga during the Monsoon season?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Kalga Village located at an altitude of 2298m in Parvati Valley is a village exceeding the village of Barshaini near Kasol and is a great place to travel.
The snow-covered peaks almost kissing the sky, Kalga offers a most alluring get away from daily mundane lives. No one lives in the old houses present there and the rest of the houses here have turned into homestays enabling the travelers to submerge in the majesty of the place completely.
Although you can trek in the monsoon season it is not advisable as while doing the trek because there is a lot of slippery and can cause grievous injuries.
