Is it possible to do a Markha Valley trek and Spiti valley trek in a single trip for a first timer?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Markha valley is located in the region of Ladakh and Spiti valley is located in the region of Himachal Pradesh with a distance of 202km between them. Both are a difficult grade trek and are not at all recommended for first-timers even individually let alone going in a single trip for both the treks. Even with a little experience, the trek would be too long and exhausting for anyone doing both of them together. It is thus recommended to not go for both of them in a single trip and rather go for individual trips starting with easy grade treks such as Hampta Pass trek or the Valley of Flowers trek to start with and slowly increase the difficulty level. It is thus recommended to not go for both of them in a single trip and rather go for individual trips starting with easy grade treks such as Hampta Pass trek or the Valley of Flowers trek to start with and slowly increase the difficulty level. This will help you build confidence, endurance, and fitness for your upcoming journeys so that you can complete them without much fatigue.
