Is it fine to trek to Pangarchulla during late December?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Pangarchulla is around 15,000 feet trekking summit, it is possible in December but be prepared for profound snow trekking. Crossing the rough moraine area at the top could be testing, prepared trekkers can manage it however unquestionably not for beginners. Great quality waterproof high ankle shoes with gaiters and crampons are recommended. Generally, during winter summits above 12,000 feet are considered to be difficult because the whole trail is covered with a deep layer of snow and there are possibilities of snowfall every now and then. Also, there might be avalanches that could be very dangerous. So, it is better not to opt for Pangarchulla trek during December.
