Is camping in Chandrashila allowed? Has anyone done it?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

No, camping at the top of Chandrashila is not allowed. There is no convenience accessible at the top here, and hence camping isn't possible as well. One needs to drop 1.5 km down to Tungnath Temple to discover any kind of settlement yet that also is restricted to a couple of rooms in an ashram and can't be reserved ahead of time. But, still, if you have your own tents and you can find a convenient place, then you can put your tents and opt for camping.
