How is the Goecha La trek?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Goechala is a high altitude Himalayan trek situated in the north-eastern region of India. The trek duration is of 11 days and the difficulty level is high. During winter, the whole trail is covered in a blanket of snow and this makes the Goecha La trek remarkable during winter. It will surely be a life-changing experience where you will be privileged to witness some of the tallest mountain peaks of the world covered entirely in white and fresh snow. You can even witness the mighty Kanchenjunga peak bathed in the fierce rays of the sun. The temperature during this time falls below 0-degree centigrade and there is heavy snowfall during the winter months. Summers are quite pleasant with greenery all around. There can be few risky snowy slopes but irrespective of all the risks and ordeal, this trek will be a life-changing experience for an individual. Despite the ordeal, one should definitely opt for this trek to elude from the worries of normal life and find the solitude that was missing in their life.
