There are bears in the forest, but the encounter is very unusual. Here are a few points which can help to prevent bear encounters:
? Usually, a bear-attack meeting happens at the sudden turn, but keep noisy anytime you notice or realize you?re passing bear-zones.
? If you?re chased, head down the hill at any opportunity. The prolonged bear?s fur produces barriers that obstruct their eyesight when falling.
? Bear in the Himalayas is a bit different from a Grizzly bear. They are a bit shy, and they avoid encounters with humans.
? During the winter, they descend to lower altitudes in search of food when it is little to feed at high altitudes. In that case, be alert.
? A mountain dog is a perfect companion, usually on the trek. Give them some milk, and they live with you and raise the alarm if they sense trouble in their immediate vicinity.
