How can I trek the Himalayas safely and enjoyably?

There are a few tips which will ensure a safe and enjoyable trek in the Himalayas:

  • You need an early training session before trekking.
  • You have to ensure the correct shoes for your trek.
  • Along with footwear, you have to make sure you have the right kind of socks for the trek.
  • You need to increase the strength of your leg with proper gyming.
  • You need to walk continuously every day for 4-5 kilometers.
  • Make sure that you train even on terrains that have ascents.
  • Try being familiar with walking poles.
  • Ensure proper hydration during trekking.
