Anyone can trek Chandrashila in one day, it is a short trek (only 5 km) easily doable in 5?8 hours. You can start the trek in the morning from Chopta, after trekking 3.5kms you will reach Tungnath in 2?3 hours. It is the highest Shiva Temple in the world. Then trek another 1 hour to the peak, reach the peak by afternoon then have lunch there and then start the descend. There is no accommodation available at the peak, also camping is not allowed so you should be back down by early evening. Chandrashila trek is famous for 360-degree Himalayan views so enjoy the 360-degree view of snow-capped Himalayas after reaching the peak. Try to start the trek in the morning around 5 am.
