Most of the Himalayan treks have an elevation of above 10,000 feet and hence the treks are not as easy as it looks from outside. There are numerous factors that can affect your body at such a high elevation. You should be physically, mentally and psychologically fit in order to accomplish the Himalayan treks. When it comes to a sinus problem, the first thing to ponder upon is how mild the sinus problem is. You should consult a doctor before the trek and take his advice. If the sinus problem is extremely mild, it is safe to go for a trek but you have to take several precautions. You have to keep your body hydrated and have a sufficient layering of cloth in order to avoid problems. Moreover, it is very important to ensure that you have a decongestant nasal spray and all the other medicines that are required in these criteria.
