Goechala is a high altitude Himalayan trek situated in the north-eastern region of India. The trek duration is of 11 days and the difficulty level is high. During winters, the whole trail is covered in a blanket of snow and this makes the Goechala trek even more difficult during this time of the year. There is heavy snowfall in this region during this time of the year. The temperature during this time falls below 0-degree centigrades and can even reach a minimum of -20 degrees centigrade. Considering the above conditions, it is always better to opt for a trekking company if you are a first-timer or novice in the field of trekking. You can still choose a solo trek to Kedarkantha if you have previously visited it once or have an experience of surging mountain summits in adverse snow conditions. Please make sure that you have all the necessary information and requirements before you opt for solo trekking the Goechala peak.
