Situated along the Western Ghats, Sahyadri range extends 1600 km in length covering six states namely Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. You can go trekking with any trekking shoes you are comfortable with. It should have a strong grip, should be waterproof and should not be slippery. From hiking shoes are a good choice to go trekking with since it has all the qualities in it. You can also use shoes from Adidas, Woodland, Quechua, and Puma as well, according to your comfort and they fulfill the above requirements pretty well. Since Sahaydri is along the coastline, it also has some sand along the way. Being not very heavy, they can easily handle the pressure and do not sink in the sand by equally dividing the pressure throughout the shoe.
